T.A.P. WEB TOOLS

The user interface to TAP is designed to allow users to enter and view complex rate structures with a minimum of effort. The web application provides the user with a data-entry form (analogous to the "universal tariff template"), this can be configured to mimic the particular structure of a given tariff. Once the form is configured, the data values can be entered and edited. Form structures can be stored, allowing relatively quick data entry for multiple tariffs of similar structure.

The user interface is easily expandable to include access to different types of applications which use the tariff data. Currently, TAP is interfaced to a bill calculator which computes the total monthly bill given user inputs for demand and energy consumption.

It is also possible within TAP to create different levels of user permission for different types of functionality.
